The Viscount was one of the many aircraft that emerged from the Brabazon Committee's recommendations, to the revival of civil aviation in the United Kingdom following the Second World Guen-a.
Design
Vickers Viscount 700 
Equipped with four Rolls-Royce Dart turboprops, the prototype flew on July 16, 1948 and he was followed by 446 until it closed in the production chain.
The 700 was the first variant to enter production and was followed by the Viscount 800 with the fuselage. The second prototype was equipped with two reactors Tay.
